Dr. Marsha Koger is an expert in nonprofit management and fund development with more than 20 years of experience improving organizational bottom lines through her expertise in fundraising. As a professor at a university, she has been sharing her knowledge for ten years, teaching courses on nonprofit management and fund development. Dr. Koger has served as a director of development and consultant for various institutions, including a university, private and public schools, an arts organization, a hospital, and several non-profit organizations.

Throughout her career, Dr. Koger has raised a minimum of $1 million annually for each organization she has worked with, demonstrating her proficiency in fundraising techniques, from grant writing to planned gifts. She founded Granted In Style, a consulting business assisting individuals, non-profit organizations, schools, and churches with fund development. Many of her clients have successfully secured funding from government entities and well-known funders.

Dr. Koger's primary expertise is building relationships and helping clients develop and utilize their networks to their fullest potential. In addition to her fundraising acumen, she has more than 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, and advertising, working, and consulting with several presidents, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), and elected officials throughout Maryland.

Dr. Koger holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Swarthmore College, a master's degree from the University of Baltimore, and a doctorate in higher education from Morgan State University. She currently resides in Maryland, with her husband of 33 years, Vernon, and their two sons, Lawrence, and Nicholas Koger.
